The law of Attraction:
We attract into our lives
that which we believe and focus on
There are 7 natural laws that allow us to intentionally apply the law of attraction in our lives.
"1. Thought
" As a man thinketh so is he"
You become what you think about most of the time. These sayings express a fundamental truth --- that thought is creative . Look around you at your physical environment , everything around you began as an idea in someone's mind. That is exactly how all things manifest in the material world. It all begins in the realm of thought.
You create your world through your thoughts that you think. You are the writer, director and star of your own movie. If you don't like your results, rewrite or reframe the script through changing your thoughts and beliefs. There is tremendous power in positive thinking.
Like attracts like. This natural law can work for you or against you, depending on your thoughts. There is plenty of negativity in the world looking for a place to be held onto. It is up to you what goes into and comes out of you mind.
As we become aware of thoughts or thought patterns in our lives that we would like to change it becomes a question of " How do I do it?"
There are many ways to accomplish this including Rapid Eye, Hypnosis and EFT. Now is the time you are planting the seeds to your future. As you nurture and feed your favorite thoughts they will grow and blossom into your hearts desire. Plant only things that you want to grow in your garden of your mind.
2. Perception
Our perceptions are created by our thoughts and experiences. You might think of it as the mind has many filters which the information coming in through all of our senses goes through . After the information has been filtered by our mind then it is labeled, and filed away for future reference to similar experiences.
The labels and attachments that we connect to everything makes complication and judgements out of even the simple things in life. We get caught in trying to figure out how that should be filed and we miss the experience or the " Blessing " in that moment. When we can let go of perceptions or beliefs that no longer serve our best interest then we are free to choose again. Simplify your life by releasing those perceptions that keep you limited.
Although we try to make it complex , the essence of life is simplicity. Being the best parent we can for our children, having loving relationships, feeling connected and appreciated by others are the fundamental requirements for nurturing the human spirit. Too often we get caught up in the hectic pace of life and loose touch with our true priorities.
" Our life is frightened away by detail.... simplify, simplify" Thoreau
Look at your own life. Have you burdened yourself with too many judgements, possessions, or responsibilities? What perceptions do you hold onto that which keeps you from happiness? Think how little it takes to lift up your spirits - A Smile from someone, an unexpected gift of sunshine, a cold drink on a hot day . As you learn to simplify your life, letting go of numerous , limiting perceptions, you will experience a freedom of the soul and a lightness of heart.
Releasing the undesired perceptions that clog up the filters of your mind allows you to make new choices. With dialogue or communication any problem can be resolved. The communication allows us to get new information and choose a new perception about the problem.
Einstein stated " The significant problems in our lives cannot be resolved at the same level of understanding where they were created."
3. Choice and accountability
Of all the gifts you have been given, your ability to choose is the most precious. Through the use of your free will , you are called to participate with the infinite in the act of creation. Being a creator enables you to experience the consequences or accountability of your choices. This is the primary way to grow and to evolve to a higher awareness.
Choose to give up all of your personal history, you can't afford to blame anyone anymore. If you don't like something in your life , forgive yourself or others and choose again. Yes it is that simple, choose again.
" If you continue to always do what you have always done, you will continue to get the same results. "
You may choose to think a thought, idealize it's existence, visualize it as real and by the act of observing it, it becomes real . It is made manifest. Your senses tell you it exists and you have realized your power to create through choice.
This is the same process or natural law that brings anything into creation.
Life is an on going process of creation and choice. You are creating your reality every minute by your choices. The choice you make today is often not the choice you will make tomorrow. Yet here is the secret of all masters; Keep choosing your desire over and over until your will is made manifest in your reality. Keep focused.
" I choose the world in which I live. What a joy, and what a responsibility! Accept your divine inheritance and use your free will to create heaven on earth."
4. Cause and Effect
When one door closes, many more doors open. There comes a time along the spiritual journey when something we cherish must come to an end. Perhaps a meaningful relationship is terminated. Perhaps some opportunity we sought suddenly becomes unavailable. What ever the circumstances, we feel shut out from something we desired. When this occurs, do not despair, for the infinite has not forgotten you.
You have experienced loss so that you may receive something else.
What then is your task when a door is closed before you? First, release your attachment to the way it was, or the way you wished it to be. Your higher self has prepared a far greater gift for you . Be patient for it will come in the blink of an eye! Then affirm to yourself, " When one door closes, many more doors open. I joyfully look forward to that which awaits me. "
The most important of life's lessons come through other people, usually those closest to you. Through relationships we learn the most valued lessons, love, sacrifice, generosity and forgiveness. Often our most significant teachings arise from those individuals and situations that are the most difficult.
Another way to explain this principle is "What you send out comes back to you multiplied. " Look around in your own life. Who or what is causing you the most trouble? How are you responding to the challenge?
Instead of remaining angry or frustrated, bless the situation or person. Ask your higher self to reveal the wisdom or meaning of the experience and lead you to healing.
5. Abundance and Gratitude
Giving is Receiving; the law flows from this truth. "The more you give, the more you receive. " This is true whether it is positive or negative, you get to choose what you send out to come back to you multiplied.
Think of the universe being like an ocean. You may approach the ocean with a teaspoon or a truck. The ocean in it's vastness doesn't care how much you take from it, it has more nourishment than we could ever require.
What defines the amount you receive is the size of the container you have. What defines the size of your container is what you accept in your innermost heart. Your task is to uncover and transform those limiting beliefs that keep your container small.
Some people have the belief that if they have, someone else will go without. It is just a belief. There is always enough for everyone. When you experience jealousy of envy of someone else for what they have, look inside yourself and see what belief you have that doesn't allow you to have what you want or envy. Being Grateful is one of the key ingredients for progress on our path. Every situation in life has something to be grateful for. Even painful experiences become bittersweet in hindsight as we see how the universe works out it's perfect plan though these experiences.
6. Health and Healing
What is healing? The words healing, health and holy come from the same root - meaning " whole" .
Healing is a quality of wholeness, completeness, and oneness. Healing can occur on many levels , physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
One of the most beautiful tools you are given is your body. You body is a divine temple that allows the spirit self to express in the physical. Your body is naturally intelligent. It knows how to repair itself and contains wisdom that automatically completes many functions without conscious input .
Your body will always communicate what it needs, so start listening. Take a moment and think of an area in your life that needs to be healed. Ask your body to communicate what it needs you to do to create that healing. Listen for the answer and fulfill the request.
How have you been treating your body? Do you provide it with adequate amounts of water, food, exercise, fresh air and rest? When you body is sick do you slow down, or do you become angry with your body for interfering with your plans? Take a moment every day to appreciate your body for all it has done for you.
You and your body are one. When you love and respect your body, you are loving and respecting your entire self. You know what is best for you. Listen to yourself.
The greatest act of healing is forgiveness. Forgiveness is about releasing yourself from the pain and taking back the energy being waisted holding onto that pain. All forgiveness starts with self-forgiveness.
Start with forgiving yourself and then look at who else you have held poison in your body about and forgive each and every one of them.
7. Harmony and Rhythm
Creating Heaven on Earth means shining light into your world, taking the ordinary and making it sacred.
You spiritual path is set before you and you choose how to get there. As you open to the qualities of spirit into your every day life you will attract others doing the same.
All love begins with self-love. Your love for others can only grow to the same level as your love for your self. Loving yourself means going with the natural flow of your life instead of creating resistance and recreating the same lesson or pain over and over again in your life. Loving yourself means treating your needs to achieve wholeness.
Feel your feelings. It seems like such a natural thing to do , yet many of us suppress our feelings. When you experience your feelings, they disappear, the more you resist, the more they persist. There are no good or bad feelings, just feelings.
No matter how isolated you may feel at times you are never truly alone. The presence of your Source dwells within you at all times. When you feel whole, connected, complete and loved is when you are in the presence of your source.
You are one with all creation, with all that is. Harmony is not dying with your music still inside. Rhythm is knowing that your heart beats to the same rhythm as the divine.
When we choose to experience harmony and rhythm in our journey we have chosen to go with the natural flow of the universe instead of going against it creating struggle or difficulty in our life. Take a look at your life if something is creating disharmony in your life, Gratefully Choose again."
